Description
Literacy Lubbock, a United Way Partner Agency. Tutoring, and reading programs primarily for adults but several programs also assist children.Programs include:
Tiny Tots Family Literacy Program - Offered at Groves (5520 19th Street) and Godeke (6707 Slide Road) Library on Wednesdays from 12:30-1:30pm. Tiny Tots is an ESL story time for children up to age 4 and a parent. One free book is given to each family in attendance.
Dyslexia and other reading difference classes using The Barton Program and the Laubach Reading Program. Students are paired one-to-one with tutors.
Books For Breakfast offers children books to start a library of their own.
