The Community Health Center of Lubbock (CHCL) - Building a Healthier West Texas! The CHCL strives to improve access to health care across all age groups, reduce health disparities in the community, and improve the quality of life for residents. They partner with numerous groups and organizations, including UMC Health System, Covenant Health System, Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and United Supermarkets in order to provide healthcare to the community. Their mission - "Provide quality primary and preventive health care services to those in need."The CHCL health clinics provide a REWARDS PROGRAM for children to help educate on the importance of developing healthy habits through prevention and knowledge: The Healthy Kids Club - for children age newborn to 10 years of age. Children earn points for attending well checks, immunizations and dental appointments - Points are redeemed for cool age-appropriate prizes for kids from CHCL's Healthy kids closet - Parents who participate with their child are also eligible for rewards when their child is one year old and two years old!
