Description
Sat. 9/24 from 1-6pm: The 7th Annual Fly & Fling event @ McAlister Park!Come and see brightly colored kites of all shapes and sizes flying high in the sky. Watch stunt kite demonstrations, fly your own kite, or participate in the Frisbee fling.
Professionals and amateurs alike are invited to participate in this family day dedicated to all things that fly including Frisbees, hand-made kites, stunt kites, and giant kites!
Participants of all ages will enjoy this fun-filled day as they fly kites, play Frisbee, make their own kites and watch one of the best kite teams in the state perform aerial acrobats set to music.
This free event is hosted by Maxey Community Center and held at McAlister Park.
