Sat. 4/23 from 11am-3pm: The 2016 South Plains Water Conservation Exposition. Frenship High School. Featuring a special appearance by Kevin Barnes, the nationally reknowned "Green Magician." This year's theme: "Save Water...Every Way, Every Day."

The City of Wolfforth will be hosting the 3rd annual Water Expo on April 23rd at Frenship High School from 11 am - 3 pm.

The event will feature exhibitors providing information on various products and services to help you be water wise, as well as an expanded kids area featuring fun, hands-on activities, visits from "Walter Drop" the Expo mascot, prizes and more!

Area food trucks will be set up in the High School parking lot make it a great family event!

Learn practical ways your entire family can save water in your home and landscape.

The mission of the Water Expo is to increase the awareness of water scarcity while educating the people of West Texas in the conservation and wise use of our limited water supply.

Primary sponsors of the event include the City of Wolfforth's Community Development Corporation and Economic Development Corporation. Other sponsors include American Bank of Commerce and City Bank. Assistance is also provided by High Plains Underground Water Conservation District No. 1, Lubbock Master Gardeners, and the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service.
