Tues. 3/13 and Wed. 3/14: RESULTS Jumps & Throws Spring Break Camp. Takes place at Smylie Wilson Middle School.

This camp is for ages 12 and up.
2 -A-Day practice/ 4 total practices.

Accepting the first 25 Jumpers and the first 25 Throwers that sign up.

POWER PRACTICE
11am-12:30pm
POWER PRACTICE is focused on crucial running jumping and throwing techniques, as well as conditioning.

SKILL PRACTICE
2:30-4:30pm
SKILL PRACTICE focuses on event specific techniques with world class coaching, and diligent teaching. This proves to be the best way to learn, grow and improve RESULTS!

MEET YOUR COACHES

Coach Jason Young.
USA Olympian,
Red Raider, with a personal best of 229'4 in the discus, Coach Young knows performance. Jason worked as a strength and conditioning specialist at Texas Tech University, and is now the head trainer at Zach Thomas', Zach's Club Lubbock Facilities.

Coach Paul Phenix.
Texas Tech Red Raider, and former Elite Collegiate Jumper, Phenix was also a standout at Coronado High. Today Coach Phenix teaches and coaches athletes in the same school system that developed him. Coach Phenix is passionate about teaching his athletes the sport and building character for their futures.


What you need to bring:
-A smile and a good attitude
-A brain ready to learn
-2-3 layers of clothing. Track athletes need warm muscles.
Example:
tights, shorts sweats + short sleeve shirt, long sleeve shirt, hoodie
-a good pair of stable athletic shoes
- throwing shoes or jumping spikes if you have them.
- shots and discs if you have them.
Be early by 5-10min!
